APY, or Annual Percentage Yield, tells you the return you will receive on a deposit over a one-year period based on the interest rate and interest compounding frequency. Annual Percentage Rate (APR) tells you the effective rate you will pay a lender on a loan over a one-year period.

You can deposit money to your High Yield Savings or Money Market Account in several ways:

  • Transfer from a Stansdale Bank account.
  • Electronic transfer (ACH) from a non-Stansdale Bank account that you’ve linked to your account.
  • Mobile check deposit via the Stansdale Bank mobile app. Sign into the app, tap the Deposit tab, select your account and take a picture of the check on your mobile device or tablet. The amount of a mobile check that you can deposit is to $5,000 USD per account.
  • Direct deposit from a third party.
  • Wire transfer to your Stansdale Bank account (must be initiated by the sending bank).
  • Personal or cashier’s check. Fill out a deposit slip (which you’ll get in your Welcome Kit from us) and mail the check and deposit slip to:

Stansdale Bank
Jackson Street, Suite B San Francisco, CA, USA

If you don’t have a deposit slip, note your Account Type and Number in the Memo section of the check. Endorse the back of the check with “For Deposit Only Account #XXXXXX” (and insert your account number for the X’s).

A certificate of deposit (CD) is a bank account that lets you earn a fixed interest rate in exchange for locking in your deposit for a specified term. At Stansdale Bank, we offer several terms to choose from.

All Stansdale Bank CDs require no minimum balance.

You can add funds to your new CD from these sources:

  1. A non-Stansdale Bank account
  2. An existing Stansdale Bank account
  1. Transfer funds from a non-Stansdale Bank account using:
  • Electronic transfer (ACH) from your external bank account: you can easily set up an external account transfer during the funding process.
  • Paper check: write a check to yourself or get a cashier’s check from your current bank (Note: you may not use a traveler’s check, money order, international bank check or double endorsed/third-party check.)
and either:
  • Deposit your check via Mobile Check Deposit in the Stansdale Bank mobile app —Sign in to the Stansdale Bank app, tap the Deposit tab, select your account, take a picture of the check with your mobile device or tablet. The maximum amount you can currently deposit via mobile check deposit is $2,000 USD per day, per account.
  • Mail it to us. Include a deposit slip (which you’ll get in your Welcome Kit from us) and send to:
Stansdale Bank

Please make sure to put your new Stansdale Bank account number on the check (which you will receive at the end of your account application).
  • Wire transfer—Ask your bank about any fees associated with this.

Transfer funds from a Stansdale Bank account during the funding process. If you are interested in using funds from an existing CD that is within 30 days of maturing or within 10 days post maturity date, you can simply provide your reinvestment instructions for that CD online or by contacting support@Stansdale.com (Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – midnight; Saturday – Sunday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET).

  • During the funding process, you can set up an electronic transfer (via ACH) from your external bank account to Stansdale Bank. It’s easy to link an external account, simply add your bank account information into our secure service, and your account will be automatically linked.
  • Write a check to yourself, or get a cashier's check from your current bank, and deposit in the Stansdale Bank mobile app. Or mail the deposit to Stansdale Bank along with a completed deposit slip for your account (provided in your Welcome Kit) to:

    Stansdale Bank
Jackson Street, Suite B San Francisco, CA, USA

  • Wire the outstanding balance from your old account to your new account.  Please check with the originating bank for any applicable fees

The maturity date is the last day of the CD’s term. We calculate the maturity date for each CD based on the day it’s funded. You can see your CD’s maturity date during account opening, and when you log in to stansdalebank.org to manage your account.
